SECOND HARVEST Food bank distributions

For every $1 given, Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley can distribute $15 worth of food. Here are some other facts concerning food distributions:
Second Harvest distributes 30,000 pounds of food every day to 170 hunger relief programs in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
The food bank accepts all nonperishable food items. The biggest needs are peanut butter, tuna fish, canned meats and vegetables, and cereal.
