THURSDAY
XCol. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will be served with meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $5.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.
XCroatian Home St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners will feature a choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli, salad, and bread and butter. There will be a chef special of roast pork. Proceeds will benefit the club building fund.
XSt. John Greek Orthodox Church, 4955 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown, will have a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Dine-in or takeout dinners are $6 for adults and $3 for children.
FRIDAY
XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will be serving fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
XHubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick Campbell Road S.E., will serve dinners of veal parmigiana with an all-you-can-eat side of spaghetti, salad and dessert beginning at 5 p.m. Small dinners are $4, large are $6.50, and children under 5 eat free with a paid adult meal. Strip steak ($8), 21 shrimp in a basket and takeouts will also be available.
XSt. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 1 Friday, based upon availability. The cost is $4 a dozen, and patrons are asked to provide their own containers. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
SUNDAY
XPoland Masonic Temple, 7685 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, will have a Swiss steak dinner from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under.
XS.O.P.H.I.A. volunteers will serve pasta and Italian sausage dinners from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. Seating is limited, and reservations are required by calling (330) 393-0519, leave your name and phone number. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under.

XSouthington United Methodist Church, state Route 305 at 534, will serve chicken dinners from 4 to 6:30 p.m. June 14. Meals include a quarter chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw and desserts. The cost is $7 for adults. XThe Men's Club of Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 W. Front St., Youngstown, will hold a steak fry at 6 p.m. June 16 at Four Square Club, 2298 S. The guest speaker will be Jerry Slocum, coach of Youngstown State University Men's Basketball Team. The cost is $10.
