A real drive to defeat cancer is under way

WARREN -- Two fleets of specially designed BMWs will make a stop from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Preston Chrysler, Plymouth, Jeep, BMW Inc. as part of a million-mile drive for cancer research.
The 10th Annual Ultimate Drive for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation will visit Warren as part of its cross-country trek to raise $1 million for cancer research.
For every mile driven during the Ultimate Drive Event, $1 is donated to the Komen Foundation.
Customers and community members are encouraged to get behind the wheel and help contribute to cancer research while the fleet is at Preston BMW.
The BMWs are decorated with pink ribbons and the phrase "10 Years, 10 Million Miles, 10 Million Dollars," to commemorate the money the drive has raised for cancer research.
The funds raised directly support breast cancer research, education, screening, and community outreach programs provided by the Komen Foundation.
The drive will continue through October.
