Turocy's three hits lead Astros over Roth Bros.
STRUTHERS -- Drew Turocy had three hits, leading Astro Falcons to a 15-1 rout of Roth Brothers in a Class B League game Saturday night at Cene Park.
Steve Schoenfeld allowed just two hits and had eight strikeouts as the Astros improved to 3-2 on the year. Joe Vaught had a double for Roth (1-4).
R & amp;J Trucking 6,Youngstown Express 2
Joe Fox tossed a five-hit complete game as R & amp;J Trucking improved to 4-1. Fox had six strikeouts as he evened his record at 1-1.
Ben Miller had a triple and a single while C.J. Morris had a pair of hits for R & amp;J.
Matt Carhart went the first four innings and suffered the loss for the Express (1-4), allowing four earned runs.
Rondinelli Tuxedo 5, Mink Financial 4, 11 innings
Phil Double hit a two-out single in the bottom of the 11th inning. Double had three hits and two RBIs, while Andy Dobson had two hits for Rondinelli (3-2).
Tyrone Wright tossed 52/3 innings of one-hit scoreless relief for the win with four strikeouts. Luke Summer went the first 51/3 innings allowing no earned runs with six strikeouts. Rondinelli (3-2) won despite having nine errors.
Dan Moran and Mark Novotny had two hits each for Mink (3-2). Lonnie McQueen went the first five innings allowing just two earned runs, while Sam Barker allowed just the one run in 52/3 innings of relief with six strikeouts.
Sunday's games at Cene Park were rained out.
