Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4490 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will hold a rummage sale and Chinese auction in the school cafeteria from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday; 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday. There will be a $2 early bird admission from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and the Chinese auction drawings will begin at approximately 8 p.m. Sunday.
SPECIAL EVENTS
An appreciation brunch forall Type A and Type B professional child-care providers in Trumbull and Mahoning counties will be held by H.A.P.P.Y. HOMES (an affiliate of H.A.P.P.Y F.A.C.E.S. preschool program) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 17 at 520 W. Main St., Cortland. Reservations are to be made by Friday with Barb McVicker, (330) 372-6133. No child care will be provided.
Teen Challenge International, the Ohio/Pa. Crisis and Referral Center of Youngstown, will hold a Crane fundraiser beginning at 1 p.m. Friday and ending at 1 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown. State rep. John Boccieri will attend at noon.
TEAS
Trinity United Methodist Women will hold its annual English tea at noon Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 W. Front St., Youngstown. Cost is $3 per person, and reservations should be made today by calling Marilyn Samuels at (330) 549-2308 or Edna Luther at (330) 781-0275.
