Surprise dinner is held June 3 for Browns' 50th

XPOLAND -- The Fireplace was the setting June 3 for a dinner honoring Curt and Delores Brown of Poland on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The Browns also have a home in Fort Myers, Fla.
The event was a surprise arranged by the couple's three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Annette Brown of Monaca, Pa.; Craig and Denise Brown of North Lima; and Curt and Jackie Brown, New Middletown. Six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter complete the family.
Mr. Brown and the former Delores Dey were married April 21, 1956, at St. John Lutheran Church in Youngstown. They are members of Zion Lutheran Church in New Middletown.
Mrs. Brown, who is also known as Dee, attended Ohio University and retired from the Springfield School District as a secretary at Springfield High School.
Mr. Brown, who retired from LTV Steel Corp., is president of C & amp;C Industrial in Petersburg. He attended Kent State University.
