XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Mary Ann Neate, 29 Oakwood Ave., New Castle, Pa., formerly of Austintown, and John A. Yerage, 738 Vogan St., New Castle, was solemnized at 2 p.m. April 29 at Zion Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Dale R. Giffin performed the ceremony for the daughter of Ann Neate, 903 Scheid Road, Sandusky, and the late Paul R. Neate, and the son of Edward and Clara Yerage, also of 738 Vogan St.
After a reception at the Bessemer Croatian Club in Bessemer, Pa., the couple departed on a cruise to the Bahamas. They live at the Oakwood Avenue address.
Crystal beading accented the bride's princess-style satin gown.
Elizabeth Walker served as matron of honor in a lettuce-green gown, and flower girls wearing white and lettuce-green gowns were Kristen and Katie Neate, the bride's nieces, and Nina Sgro, the groom's great-niece.
Edward J. Yerage Jr. was best man for his brother, and Andrew Neate, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer. Ushers were Robert, Raymond, Thomas and Dennis Neate, the bride's brothers who also escorted her down the aisle.
Mrs. Yerage is a purchasing manager for Gorant Candies in Boardman. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio State University.
The groom earned his bachelor's in business administration at Slippery Rock University and is the controller for Micro-Matic Tool and American Way Manufacturing.
