Dinner party and play are highlights of Allio 40th anniversary celebration

XSALEM -- Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Allio, East Third Street, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary during a family dinner party held Saturday at Soffo's Caf & eacute; Italian Grill in Boardman.
Hostess for the event was their daughter, Cristina Garlough of Salem.
The couple will continue the celebration by attending a performance of the musical, "Grease," at the Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron with friends.
The former Judi Pelliccioni and Mr. Allio were united in marriage June 4, 1966, at Real Life Assembly of God.
Mrs. Allio was a legal secretary for many years and is currently employed in the reference department at Salem Public Library. She is also the clerk of council for the city of Salem, and has produced numerous productions at Salem Community Theatre, where she is a past president and secretary of the board of trustees.
Mr. Allio is a U.S. Navy veteran and a long-time broadcast engineer. He held the position of chief engineer for radio stations WSOM and WQXK in Salem and Youngstown and WHLO in Akron.
