Walking in the park for a cure
The Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma walk brought out several hundred people in Boardman Township Park. Above, Woody the Clown joined the Robinson Family of Middlefield on Saturday to raise money to find a cure for the disease, which causes a person's immune system to attack itself. Crossman Robinson, at right, with the water bottle in his hand, has scleroderma. At right, others joined in the early morning walk. The local Scleroderma Foundation Support Group was hoping to attract more than 300 walkers to the event. This is the third year for the fund-raising walk.
