NASSAU, Bahamas -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Tonya R. Koker and Joshua K. Hunkele, both of 501 Brandon Ave., Struthers, during an 11 a.m. ceremony that took place May 9 on the beach at Sandal's Royal Bahamian Resort in Nassau on New Providence.
The Rev. Carl Rahming presided at the wedding for the daughter of Irene and Ed Poyner, 990 Snyder Road, Martin, Tenn., and Tom and Marie Koker, 235 Austin Springs Road, Dukedom, Tenn., and the son of Renee and Terry Stocker of the Struthers address, and Karl and Robin Hunkele of Newcomerstown.
After honeymooning in the Bahamas, the couple live at the Struthers address.
The bride wore a strapless white and silver gown that featured a Chantilly lace overlay and a corset-style back.
Serving as attendants for the couple were the groom's mother and stepfather and his sister, Meghan Hunkele of Hubbard.
The bride and groom are employed by Dominion East Ohio in Youngstown, where she works in worker field services and he is in customer services.
A postnuptial reception will be held in honor of the couple by invitation on July 8 at the Lockwood House, Boardman.
