SRU gets grant for paths

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Slippery Rock University has been awarded a $610,995 federal grant to construct lighted pedestrian paths in the southeastern corner of campus and along Harmony Road. The improvement means students living in off-campus apartments on Harmony Road will have sidewalks this fall and will no longer have to walk on the roadway.
