Pearn-Popovich wedding to be at Twinsburg inn

Announced by Tom and Diane Pearn, 583 Timberline Trail, Mayfield Village, and John and Marsha Popovich, 7863 Walnut St., Boardman, is the engagement of their children, Melanie Diane Pearn, 30162 Ridgeview Drive, Wickliffe, and Alex Martin Popovich, 9301 Shady Lake Drive, Streetsboro.
Miss Pearn is an English teacher at Twinsburg High School. She graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in education and from John Carroll University in University Heights with a master's in educational administration.
Mr. Popovich attended Denison University at Granville, and graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees in education and English. He earned a master's in educational administration from John Carroll University and is an English teacher and assistant athletic director at Twinsburg High School.
Invitations will be extended by the couple for their 6 p.m. July 29 wedding and for their reception afterward, both at the Hilton Garden Inn, Twinsburg.
