Golf outing to be held at Pine Lakes Golf club

HUBBARD -- Golden String Inc. is planning a golf outing to be held June 20 at Pine Lakes Golf Club.
The event will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9.
The cost for the day is $260 for a foursome and includes 18 holes of golf, a continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages and entertainment.
Proceeds from the event will be used to continue the Golden String Community Arts Training Program, which organizes social activities such as trips to movies, dinner, bowling and golf, and provides culinary training, initiates peer mentoring and teaches arts enrichment for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities.
Golden String, a nonprofit agency, is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to realize their fullest potential, to escape alienation, develop self-respect and build lasting friendships with others.
