Rotary Club distributes funds to 20 local organizations



POLAND -- Twenty community organizations were the recipients of funds distributed by Poland Rotary Club during a noon luncheon held May 31 at Bruno's Restaurant, U.S. Route 224.
The recipients of the contributions were American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Boy's and Girl's clubs, CASA, Easter Seals, Help Hotline, Hospice, Millcreek Children's Center, Paula and Anthony Rich Center for Autism, Poland Interfaith Pantry, Potential Development Center, Sojourner House, Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center, Second Harvest Food Bank, Make a Wish Foundation, Mission of Love, Multiple Sclerosis University Memory and Aging Center in honor of Margaret Becker and the YMCA.
The three events held annually by Rotary to raise funds for these organizations are its Chili Open, Poland Rotary Auction and Dinner and Poland Rotary Golf Outing at Bedford Trails Golf Course.
Poland Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
