Genealogical society to seat new leaders

BOARDMAN -- Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will install officers at a dinner meeting to be held at 6 p.m. June 19 at St. Charles Church, 7325 Westview Drive.
Inducted for the 2006-2007 season will be Ron Garchar, president; John Holderman, vice president; Carol Check, recording secretary; Janet Griffin, corresponding secretary; Louis Joseph, treasurer; and Sue Bell, historian.
Recognized at the meeting will be Thomas Check, who has been accepted into the Builders and Settlers of Ohio.
The guest speaker will be Thomas Neel, OGS library director.
Members are asked to take an ethnic dish. Beverages, place settings, napkins and chicken will be provided.
There will be no Computer Interest Group meeting.
