May 26
Burglary: Officers nabbed a 17-year-old Youngstown boy and charged him with burglary, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. A residence in the 100 block of Clifton Avenue had been broken into and the juvenile was found inside, police said.
Theft: A woman discovered a laptop computer and a school book missing from her vehicle in the 50 block of Willow Drive.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of property from her home in the 8200 block of Southern Boulevard.
Theft: Police arrested a 26-year-old Warren man on a theft charge after items were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Youngstown man, 50, was charged with theft after being accused of taking merchandise from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Drugs: Authorities made two drug-related arrests after stopping a vehicle in the 5100 block of Market Street. Charged with three counts of possession of drugs was a Boardman woman, 24; a Boardman man, 23, faced charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug-abuse instruments. He also was wanted on warrants charging him with possession of heroin and two other drug counts.
Theft: A Youngstown man, 23, was charged with theft and obstructing official business after being accused of taking items from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Police picked up a 35-year-old Youngstown man at the Trumbull County Jail on a warrant from Boardman charging him with theft.
Arrest: Officers arrested a 38-year-old Boardman man near Oak Knoll and Overhill drives. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with carrying a concealed weapon.

Theft: A man discovered $400 missing from his apartment in the 7000 block of Market Street.
Domestic violence: A man, 51, was taken into custody at his Boardman-Canfield Road residence on a domestic-violence charge. His girlfriend told police she became a victim during an altercation.
Arrest: Police arrested a Youngstown woman, 38, on a child-endangering charge after saying she left two children unattended in a vehicle at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Criminal damaging: A car was damaged in the 3900 block of Arden Boulevard.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A customer failed to return a Jeep to Enterprise Rent-a-Car, 7880 Market St.
Domestic violence: Officers arrested a 35-year-old Shields Road woman after an altercation with her boyfriend. She was charged with domestic violence.
Domestic violence: Officers apprehended a Boardman man, 34, and charged him with domestic violence after accusing him of deliberately using his vehicle to strike a family member's car at Wal-Mart, and following the woman.
Drugs: While responding to a call of a suspicious person near Sheridan Road, police arrested a 29-year-old Struthers man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. A suspected glass crack pipe and a suspected marijuana cigarette were found, officers said.
Arrest: Police arrested a 16-year-old Canfield boy during a traffic stop in the 5400 block of Market Street. Charges against the teen were obstructing official business, underage possession of tobacco and a curfew violation.
Citation: Officers cited a 39-year-old Boardman man on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated after saying he urinated near the outside of a business.
Arrest: Police picked up a Youngstown man, 37, in the township on two bench warrants. The charges were larceny and carrying a concealed weapon.

Domestic violence: A Youngstown man, 23, faced a felony domestic-violence charge as well as misdemeanor counts of obstructing official business and resisting arrest when police say he fled after assaulting his girlfriend at the One Price and More Store, 1208 Doral Drive. The man also was wanted on warrants charging him with cocaine possession and intimidation. The victim, a 21-year-old Youngstown woman, faced a charge of obstructing official business.
Drugs: Officers arrested a 59-year-old Youngstown woman during a traffic stop near Indianola Road and Market Street. She was charged with drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug-abuse instruments after authorities say they found suspected cocaine, suspected crack cocaine and suspected crack pipes.

Aggravated menacing: A man in the 6600 block of Glenwood Avenue reported his girlfriend received threats over the phone.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 7500 block of Hitchcock Road discovered damage to his property.
Theft: A flagpole was removed from a yard in the 7300 block of Southern Boulevard.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 8100 block of Tod Avenue reported property damage.
Burglary: A woman in the 800 block of Cook Avenue reported a break-in at her apartment.
Theft: A man in the 600 block of Cook Avenue reported the theft of an XBox video game.
Theft: A customer stole gasoline from a Get Go station, 6911 South Ave.
Theft/criminal damaging: A man left Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road, and noticed someone had removed three lug nuts from his car.
Drugs: Police arrested a Youngstown man, 23, on South Avenue and charged him with trafficking in crack cocaine and trafficking in marijuana, both felonies, and possession of both drugs and drug paraphernalia, each a misdemeanor.
May 30
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into the Golden Corral Buffet, 320 Boardman-Poland Road, and stole money from a safe.
Theft: A coin-operated game machine was stolen from the Laundry Basket, 978 Mathews Road.
Theft/drugs: Officers arrested a 47-year-old Youngstown man on charges of theft and possession of drug-abuse instruments. He was accused of stealing lobster tails from Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave., and being in possession of a hypodermic needle.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Woodview Avenue woman told police her boyfriend took her van without permission and failed to return it.

May 23
Damage: Someone tampered with a fence at a residence in the 50 block of Alverne Drive.
May 25
Arrest: A 37-year-old Warren man was apprehended in Weathersfield Township, Trumbull County, and turned over to Poland authorities after officers say the man led them on a chase that began when Poland police determined the vehicle he was driving had been stolen. The man was charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding police, criminal damaging and driving under suspension.
