May 24
K-9 Track: Police were called on a mutual aid request from Boardman police for a K-9 track after a man robbed a woman at gunpoint at Newport Glen Apartments and ran south in the parking lot. The dog lost the scent.
May 26
Break-in: Someone broke into Roman Realty, 22 W. Main St., but nothing was missing.
Theft: A cashier was the target of a quick-change theft of $89 at Get Go Gas station, 375 E. Main Street.
May 27:
K-9 track: The Mahoning County sheriff's office requested a K-9 track after it spotted two suspects trying to break into a car in the 3000 block of Indian Run Drive. The dog could not pick up a scent.

May 22
Aggravated menacing: Threats were made by computer messaging at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A woman was arrested on a theft charge and a man was arrested on two warrants at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-six Drive.
Theft: An employee was stealing products at Get Go gas station, 5163 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A mailbox and a post were damaged at a home in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.
Breaking and entering: At Inner Circle Pizza, 4520 Mahoning Ave. Nothing was reported missing.
Theft: Three people were arrested on theft charges at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A computer was taken at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Drug Offense: A Youngstown man was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of marijuana in the 4900 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A man was placed in county jail for theft at Blue Beacon, 5300 Seventy-six Drive.
Thefts: In separate incidents, fuel worth $45.03, $28, $22.90 and $40.11 was stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Weapons offense: A man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, a loaded .38-caliber handgun, at N. Meridian Road and Oakwood Avenue.
Aggravated robbery: At B.P. gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A BB gun was used to damage a window at Casual Carpets, 4930 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $23.46 in gasoline was stolen from Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Burglary: A check was taken from a home in the 100 block of N. Navarre Avenue.
Pursuit: Austintown assisted Youngstown police in pursuit of a stolen vehicle on N. Four Mile Run Road. An apprehension was made.

Criminal damaging: A windshield was shot out and doors scratched on a vehicle in a driveway in the 50 block of Kroeck Avenue.
Theft: Front and rear license plates were stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of S. Warwick Drive.
Burglary: Clothing and PlayStation games were stolen from a home in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: Several items were taken from a garage in the 300 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Damage was done to a truck in the 5000 block of London Drive.
Theft: Money was taken by an employee at the TA Travel Center.
Personal Injury: A dog bite was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Receiving stolen property: A Youngstown woman was arrested on a warrant for possession of stolen plates, and two men, also from Youngstown, were charged, one with theft and the other with receiving stolen goods at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Two tires were cut on a vehicle at a home in the 6000 block of Lake Avenue.

Attempted burglary: A man is accused in an attempted burglary at a home in the 5000 block of W. Webb Road.
Drug offense: A Mineral Ridge man was arrested on charges of drug abuse of marijuana at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
