A YOUNG female opossum nuzzles the ear of a staff member at Mississippi State University's Wildlife and Fisheries Research and Educational Facility in Starkville. The pink-toed ball of fur was among residents of the Captive Carnivore Unit that greeted visiting members of the 4-H State Congress being held this week on campus.
