Monday's Best Bets on TV
"Star Tomorrow" (8 p.m., NBC): This special brings the results of cyber-auditions to prime time, launching the search for a music superstar. After its broadcast introduction, the show takes its act to the Web, where online viewers evaluate 20 groups or duos a week, voting for their favorites to continue the competition.
Songs include covers of rock, pop and country favorites, with original songs in the later rounds. The winning group will get a record deal as well as career guidance.
Music producer Tommy Mottola, who discovered and was briefly married to Mariah Carey, is executive producer.
"One Ocean View" (10 p.m., ABC): Eleven single, successful New Yorkers swap life in bustling Manhattan for sultry summer weekends at a shared beach house on New York's Fire Island in this new unscripted series. The show takes its cue from MTV's reality franchise "The Real World." Not surprisingly, they're produced by the same people.
