XYOUNGSTOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2 p.m. ceremony June 17 as Stacie Ann Groves and Michael Snyder, both of 47 Hamilton Ave., Poland, were united in marriage at St. Matthias Church.
The marriage was solemnized by Monsignor Peter Polando, and a reception was held in honor of the couple at the Byzantine Center at the Grove.
After a wedding trip to Panama City in Florida, they live in Poland.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. David Hershey, 74 Leighton Ave., Boardman, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Pete Snyder, 620 Duke Circle, Austintown.
The bride's white satin halter-style gown was embellished with beads, pearls and sequins. It featured a split front and a detachable cathedral train.
Cranberry was the color of the gowns worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Carrie Ann Groves of Boardman, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Hershey of Elkton, her stepsister, and Nicole Brown of Austintown. Flower girls were Lidia and Tesa Biggs of Lordstown, cousins of the groom.
The duties of best man were performed by Ryan Sawyer of Austintown, and groomsmen were Jim Palazzo of Boardman and Gary Johnston of Elkton. Ushers were Austin Sawyer of Austintown and the groom's cousin, Nickolas Wogan of Austintown.
The bride is employed at Sam's Club in Boardman, and the groom is a crane operator with General Extrusions in Boardman.
