Shaffer-Belelieu wedding date to be Sept. 2

XHERMITAGE, Pa. -- Dr. and Mrs. Larry Shaffer, 1860 Mary Jude Court, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Julianna Lyn Shaffer, and Andre Belelieu, both of 1200 N. Veitch St., Arlington, Va.
Parents of the future groom are Thomas and Irene Belelieu, 5759 S. Thurow St., Hindsdale, Ill.
The couple have chosen Sept. 2 for their 3:30 p.m. wedding at Wallace Memorial Chapel in New Wilmington, Pa. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and also for an early evening reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, Pa.
The bride-elect is a membership marketing program administrator for the American Medical Association in Washington. She received a bachelor's degree in political science/modern languages and literature in French/Russian from Kenyon College in Gambier.
The prospective groom an assistant director in the U.S. office of TransAtlantic Business Dialogue in Washington, graduated from the University of Toronto in Canada with a bachelor's degree in international relations.
Both Miss Shaffer and Mr. Belelieu earned master's degrees at the London School of Economics, where they majored in European politics and policy.
