XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Michelle L. Zidian and David W. Gross took place June 23 at St. Dominic Church.
The Rev. Joseph P. Allen officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Donald and Patricia Opsitnik and Thomas and Jill Zidian, all of Poland, and the son of Paul and Lynn Digby of Alliance and the late Timothy Gross.
A reception was held in honor of the newlyweds later that day at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park. After accepting congratulations, the couple left on a wedding trip to Hawaii.
They live in Dublin.
Beading embellished the bodice and hemline of the bride's strapless white satin gown, and she held a bouquet of white calla lilies and hydrangea.
Kimberly Zidian, the bride's sister and honor attendant, wore a periwinkle gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jennifer Couillez, the groom's sister; Danielle Augustine; Anne Marino; Allison Graf; and Victoria Mauer; and the flower girl, Jaclyn Grisdale.
Serving as best man was Philippe Couillez, the groom's brother-in-law, and the groomsmen were William Thompson, a cousin of the bride; Douglas Weaver; William Dailey; Joseph Hagan; and John Hagan Jr.
The bride and groom graduated from Mount Union College with their bachelor's degrees, hers in international business and Japanese and his in early childhood education. Both are employed as general managers with Aladdin's Eatery in Dublin.
