Carlsons observe 50th anniversary during a picnic

XCANFIELD -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Carlson, 222 Lisbon St., was celebrated with family and friends during a picnic held July 28 at 5202 Duck Creek Road, Berlin Center.
Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's children and their spouses, William and Tina Wepler of Plano, Texas; Keith and Tracy Carlson, Cridersville; Joseph and Diane Gregor, Vista, Calif.; Michael and Robin Martinelli, Berlin Center; Raymond and Lori Carlson, Lowellville; and Mark and Lisa Carlson, Orchard Park, N.Y.
The Carlsons have 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The former Irene Vacca and Mr. Carlson were united in marriage July 28, 1956, at Kingsville Baptist Church. They attend St. Michael Church.
Mrs. Carlson retired in 2001 as a registered nurse, and Mr. Carlson was a salesman until retiring in 1989. He served four years with the U.S. Air Force.
