XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Angela Calcagni and Jimmy Carchedi, both of 2542 Dahlia Way, Columbus, was solemnized by Monsignor Michael Cariglio at 2:30 p.m. June 24 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
The couple accepted congratulations at a reception at Leo's Ristorant & eacute; in Howland before leaving on a wedding trip to Hawaii. They live in Columbus.
Parents of the bride are Jim and Debbie Calcagni, 2909 Whispering Pines, Canfield, and the groom is a son of Jean Carchedi, 2451 Stewart Road, Lowellville, and James Sr. and Debi Carchedi, 5556 Walnut Grove Circle, Struthers.
The bride's strapless matte satin gown featured a beaded bodice and an A-line skirt with a pleated back.
European-rose gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Rene & eacute; Perry, and the bridesmaids, Krystal Naples, Danielle Calcagni, Dannielle Olmi, Jodie Grimm, Erin Griffith, Candi Dorman, Katie Wilson and Whitney Frost. Flower girl was Sydney Reider.
Robert Coppola was best man, and groomsmen were Dominic Perry, Kane Wagner, Tommy Carchedi, J.J. Terzigni, J.J. Benson, Chris Calcagni, Matthew Carchedi and Steve Carchedi. Ring bearer was Michael Donatelli.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education. She is a substitute teacher with Dublin and Olentangy school districts. The groom, a financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial in Worthington, graduated from Malone College in Canton with a bachelor's degree in marketing and finance.
