Nuptials planned by Marta Simcox and Jason Evans

XPOLAND -- An October wedding is planned by Marta Kay Simcox and Jason H. Evans, both of Boardman, whose engagement is announced by her parents, B.J. and Bobbie Simcox of Poland.
The prospective groom is a son of Carol A. Evans of Youngstown.
The couple will issue invitations for a late-afternoon ceremony to be held Oct. 7 at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Boardman and for an evening reception at Avion on the Water, Canfield.
The bride-elect, a teacher at Summit Academy Elementary School in Youngstown, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and is pursuing a master's in special education.
Her fianc & eacute; graduated from YSU with a degree in nursing. He is employed as a nurse at Austinwoods Nursing Home in Austintown and also a semiprofessional golfer.
