Drug raid nets charges

LEETONIA -- A village man faces charges of tampering with evidence and resisting arrest after a raid Friday.
The Columbiana County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at the home of Charles E. Bonzo, 37, of 387 Honey Lane.
Bonzo tried to destroy evidence while authorities were entering the house and then refused to comply with officers who were trying to handcuff him, according to the task force.
Authorities seized over $400 and digital scales.
The time of the raid was not announced, and task force members couldn't be reached.
Members of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, the county sheriff's office, and Lisbon, Leetonia and Washingtonville police took part in the raid.
The raid followed a three-month investigation.
