Shooting of man, house
YOUNGSTOWN -- The wounding of a 20-year-old East Judson Avenue man on Hillman Street and a house shot up in the 50 block of West Auburndale Avenue may be related to an argument between young women, police said.
The shooting victim, who was treated at St. Elizabeth Health Center late Wednesday night, said he had gone to the Hillman address to pick up his sister.
He heard gunshots in the front yard and was shot in the left leg as he ran to the house, reports show.
The residents at the Avondale house acknowledged that a fight had taken place there that involved women from the Hillman address but didn't want to report that the Avondale house was shot up.
