ASSOCIATIONS
Home Cemetery Association will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday at the cemetery. In event of rain, someone will be on hand to direct members to the home of Donna and George Hateman or Jack and Joan Gillespie.
Yo-Mah-O Chapter, IAAP, will meet at 5:45 p.m. Aug. 8 for networking followed by a 6 p.m. dinner at Beard Cabin in Boardman Township Park. The cost for the buffet is $12.50. Flora McDonald Auxiliary will meet Aug. 5 at the home of Alice Seifarth, where dessert will be served at 1 p.m. The program will be presented by Madeline Shanks.

CLUBS
Youngstown South Christian Women's Club will hold a guest night "Hawaiian Luau" Aug. 10 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Featured will be hoola instructions by Judy Conti Katsaras, music by Dan Mook, soloist, and a talk on "Victory Through Adversity" by Bill Rotar of Columbiana. Tickets are $13. Youngstown Women's Connection will hold an Antique Roadshow luncheon at noon Aug. 8 at the Italian American Banquet Center, 115 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Antiques will be shown by Dave Dangerfield of Dave's Antiques, and special music will be by Katelynn Jancay. Speaking on "Successful Search for Love" will be Charlotte Banko. The cost is $7. Mahoning Valley Machine Knitters Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Denny's Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave. Anyone interested in machine knitting is welcome.
Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild will host a sit-n-sew day of working on philanthropic projects from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., Warren. Those attending are asked to take a machine, basic sewing supplies, fabric to donate, and a salad or dessert to share. Nonmembers are welcome regardless of skill level.
