BOARDMAN
July 19
Theft: An employee at West Glen Italian Eatery, 8600 Glenwood Ave., reported money missing from a deposit bag.
Theft: Someone took tools and equipment from a construction site in the 3900 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A woman in the 700 block of Kiwana Drive reported her car was used without permission.
Theft: Police arrested a 53-year-old Youngstown woman after clothing was stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall. She also was wanted on a warrant charging her with contempt of court.
Theft: Officers charged a Columbiana man, 18, after accusing him of taking miscellaneous items from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft/drugs: Police made two arrests after DVDs were stolen from Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave. Charges against a woman, 23, and a man, 34, both from Niles, were theft, possession of drug-abuse instruments, drug abuse (heroin), carrying concealed weapons and child endangering. The woman had two knives and failed to properly secure her baby in the vehicle, authorities said.
Drugs: Two 27-year-old Boardman men were arrested near Hillman Way during a traffic stop over an equipment violation. One was charged with drug abuse (marijuana) and operating a vehicle under the influence; the other faced one count of obstructing official business.
Robbery: Police picked up a 20-year-old Youngstown man on a warrant from Boardman charging him with aggravated robbery in May at Deals Nothing Over a Dollar, 225 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrest: Police took a 37-year-old Youngstown man into custody after learning he was wanted on two felony warrants from Boardman. The charges were criminal simulation and forgery.
Misuse of a credit card: A 22-year-old Boardman woman faced two counts of theft and one count of misuse of a credit card after being accused of misusing two credit cards.
Domestic violence: Police picked up a Hammondsville, Ohio, man, 39, on a domestic-violence warrant relating to a call in the township earlier in the month.
Arrest: After stopping a car in the township for having the wrong license plates, officers took a 37-year-old Youngstown man into custody. They charged him with driving under suspension, having an open container of alcohol and having fictitious license plates.
July 20
Theft/misuse of a credit card: A man in the 8100 block of Hitchcock Road discovered someone accessed his bank account to buy services at an online retail company.
Theft/criminal damaging: A man reported two trailers in the 8500 block of Market Street were broken into and that items were removed.
Forgery: A woman alleged that, after hiring a Realtor, her signature was forged as part of a scam to quickly sell her home.
Attempted burglary: A woman in the 6800 block of Lockwood Boulevard discovered someone cut three rear screens in an effort to enter her apartment.
Theft: A man in the 70 block of Indianola Road reported the theft of his checkbook.
Theft: A license plate was missing from a fishing trailer in the 1300 block of Quail Court.
Possible fraud: A man told police creditors defrauded him after he traded in a vehicle. The title was never switched, resulting in the man's being in debt with the bank, he said.
Domestic violence: Police took a 43-year-old man into custody at his Southern Boulevard home on a domestic-violence charge after two men reported being assaulted there.
Arrest: While responding to a report of children screaming out an apartment window on Hillman Way, officers apprehended a 22-year-old Boardman man wanted on a warrant from Youngstown charging him with criminal damaging.
Arrest: While conducting a traffic stop in the area, police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown woman. She was wanted on a warrant from Youngstown charging her with assault.
Arrest: After pulling over a vehicle in the township, authorities arrested a 37-year-old Youngstown woman on warrants charging her with two counts of theft.
July 21
Theft: A license plate was removed from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Friendship Avenue.
Possible theft: A woman reported her purse lost or stolen in the Giant Eagle parking lot, 1201 Doral Drive.
Vandalism: A woman reported someone tossed eggs and damaged her vehicle's windshield as she drove near Mathews Road and Southern Boulevard.
Drugs: While investigating a possible drug overdose in the township, police arrested a North Lima man, 24, and a Youngstown woman, 20, on charges of possession of drugs and drug-abuse instruments. The man also was accused of having suspected heroin.
Arrest: While conducting a traffic stop in the township, officers arrested a 27-year-old Canfield man wanted on a warrant from Struthers charging him with passing bad checks.
Drugs: After pulling over a car in the area, police arrested a 25-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. A Youngstown man, 30, was charged with obstructing official business.
July 22
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into an indoor swimming pool area and damaged several pieces of lawn furniture at an apartment complex in the 7200 block of West Boulevard.
Attempted burglary: An Indianola Road woman told police someone tried to pry open her apartment door, damaging its weather stripping.
Theft: Two people reported being victims while at Life Uniform Co. in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of wedding rings while at Salty Grogs, 1203 Boardman-Poland Road.
Stolen property: Officers arrested a 31-year-old Boardman man on charges of forgery, receiving stolen property and passing bad checks. He was accused of trying to cash stolen checks with forged signatures at Ace Cash Express, 272 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Police charged a 40-year-old Oakwood Village, Ohio, man with theft after cologne was stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 5600 block of Southern Boulevard reported a window broken on his vehicle.
Theft: A customer left Denny's Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying the food bill.
Aggravated menacing: A Sierra Madre Trail man called police after two people threatened to blow up his residence and truck.
Robbery: A Youngstown man, 36, was held on one count each of robbery and carrying a concealed weapon after an employee at Kaufmann's told police the man fought with security personnel who tried to detain him after cologne was stolen. The man had a folding knife, officers said.
Drug paraphernalia: A 27-year-old Youngstown man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in Boardman.
July 23
Theft: A backpack was stolen from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: At a residence in the 50 block of Prestwick Avenue.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 40-year-old Glendale Avenue man at his residence and charged him with domestic violence after a woman reported being assaulted at the home.
Vandalism: Property was damaged at D-U Construction, 6235 Southern Blvd.
Criminal damaging: A man reported someone scratched his mother's vehicle at her home in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue.
Assault: While responding to a fight in the township, authorities arrested a 16-year-old Youngstown boy and charged him with assault. He was accused of pushing a female to the ground during an argument.
Arrest: After stopping her car in Boardman, police arrested a 30-year-old Campbell woman. She faced one felony count of carrying a concealed weapon after officers say they found a loaded handgun in her purse. She also was charged with obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

July 18
Theft: A Boardman man reported someone removed a steering wheel cover from his vehicle at Walgreens Pharmacy on McKinley Way.
July 19
Forgery: An employee at a doctor's office in the 200 block of West McKinley Way found out four checks totaling $1,150 had been cashed at a Boardman bank, despite his not having authorized the transaction.
July 20
Misuse of a credit card: A woman in the 100 block of McKinley Way discovered two unauthorized charges totaling about $273 on her credit-card statement.
July 21
Criminal damaging: A worker at Union Elementary School, 30 Riverside Drive, found a plastic glass sheet had been smashed and that a playground swing was damaged.
