"The Benchwarmers": The geeks shall inherit the turf in this painful sports comedy about three grown men getting revenge on the bullies of their youth by taking down Little Leaguers on the ballfield. Adam Sandler's production company produces this very dumb, very crude tale featuring former "Saturday Night Live" pals Rob Schneider, David Spade and Jon Lovitz. Schneider, Spade and Jon Heder, star of "Napoleon Dynamite," play men who form a three-player baseball team and win a following of young nerds as they square off against young Little League jocks. DVD, $28.95. (Sony)
"Final Destination 3": The horror franchise that declares that Death doesn't like to be kept waiting is back for a third go-round. This time out, a group of teens is slated to die in a roller-coaster disaster, only to be saved when one has a premonition of the accident, prompting the Reaper to stalk the group and pick them off one by one in nasty ways. Viewers can watch the movie in its theatrical version or activate a "choose-their-fate" option that incorporates alternate footage, allowing fans to insert various outcomes for some of the characters. The two-disc set also has a deleted scene, commentary with director James Wong and his co-writer, Glen Morgan, and a range of featurettes. DVD set, $29.98. (New Line)
