XELYRIA -- High Meadows Park was the setting July 1 as Rachel Marie McCully, 38207 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, and Chris Ryan Chumita, 14449 Triskett, Cleveland were united in marriage.
The Rev. George Gribbon officiated at the 1:30 p.m. wedding, and a barbecue reception was held afterward at the park pavilion.
The couple have returned from a Caribbean cruise and live at the groom's address.
Parents of the bride are Roger A. and Jocelyn J. McCully of the North Ridgeville address, and the groom's parents are Daniel A. and Joann M. Chumita, 2325 Hunter's Ridge, Boardman.
Adorned with beading, the bride's strapless white satin gown featured a tulle skirt.
Red gowns were worn by the bride's aunt and honor attendant, Renee Corbett, and the bridesmaids, Cherise McCully, a sister of the bride; Lindsay Chumita, the groom's sister; Jennifer Hemminger; and Yvonne Pentz. Flower girls were Emily Hoffman and Anna Leshinsky.
Daniel Chumita was his brother's best man, and groomsmen were John Leshinsky, Jay Barnhart, Mike Lewis and the bride's brother, Gary McCully. Ring bearer was Brendon McCully, also her brother.
The bride is a customer-service representative in Cleveland and will attend a massotherapy school in the fall.
The groom graduated from Youngstown State University. He is a sergeant with the city of Cleveland's Emergency Medical Service and a police officer for the village of Grand River.
