Possible human remains found at Mosquito

BAZETTA -- Police are investigating the discovery of what they suspect are human remains in the woods below the dam at Mosquito State Park.
Roger Laird, shift supervisor at Trumbull County 911, said someone walking in the woods found what the walker thought was a human skeleton at 7:33 p.m. Sunday.
State park police, who arrived first, also thought the remains were human and they alerted Bazetta police, Laird said.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation was called to the scene, and the county coroner's office also was called, Laird said. No other information was available by press time.
