Kysers honored at reception on 50th anniversary

XSALEM -- Mr. and Mrs. George Kyser, 7152 Pine Lake Road, were honored during a dinner and reception on July 16 held in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary at Das Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana.
Hosts for the celebration were the couple's family, Thomas and Marian Kyser of Louisville, Ky., and Diane and Dale Murray of Columbiana. There are six grandchildren in the family.
Robbins Memorial Methodist Church in Washingtonville was the setting July 15, 1956, when Mr. Kyser and the former Ruth Fieldhouse were united in marriage.
The Kysers are involved in various community activities and are members of Greenford Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir and he has served as elder and deacon.
Mrs. Kyser was a secretary with Christian Training Ministries in Greenford prior to retiring.
Mr. Kyser served with the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. He retired from Hynes Industry Inc. in Austintown, where he was a tool and die maker.
