A summary of recent criminal activity in Girard and Hubbard:
GIRARD
July 14
Theft: A rear license plate was removed from a car in the 400 block of Indiana Avenue.
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of North Avenue reported the theft of 100 compact discs and a CD player from her vehicle.
Theft: An employee at the Alumni Inn, 346 S. Market St., showed police a surveillance tape she said shows a co-worker serving patrons alcoholic beverages without charging them.
Arrest: Officers took custody of a 13-year-old Austintown boy in the 30 block of West Wilson Avenue after the teen's stepfather said he threatened to kill another juvenile; police said the boy was in possession of two knives.
July 16
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 400 block of East Kline Street reported a 4-inch metal object was used to break her vehicle's rear windshield.
July 17
Burglary: A woman discovered someone entered her home in the 400 block of Parkview Drive through a basement window before taking two speakers and 100 CDs.
Theft: A woman in the 30 block of East Second Street reported a $1,000 laptop computer, a Sony PlayStation 2 game system, 20 PlayStation games and $100 missing.

July 13
Arrest: Youngstown police held a woman wanted on a warrant from Hubbard charging her with various traffic and drug offenses.
Drugs: A worker at a Shell gas station, 204 W. Liberty St., called police after finding a suspected marijuana cigarette.
Criminal mischief: A School Street man reported two male juveniles on bicycles threw rocks at his truck.
July 14
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 200 block of Drummond Street found a clothesline pole had been bent; a man in the 200 block reported items from his yard were tossed into his swimming pool.
July 15
Damage: Police found broken glass after someone damaged a door at the former Dollar Factory site, 840 W. Liberty St.
July 16
Aggravated menacing: Police took two 14-year-old boys into custody after several people at a festival in the 200 block of West Liberty Street told police one of the teens had a knife.
Theft: A woman in a red vehicle pumped gasoline at a Shell station and left without paying.
Theft: A man found out someone broke into his vehicle at Morrow's Auto Service Inc., 1200 N. Main St.
Theft: A customer stole items from Devine's Shop 'n' Save, 529 N. Main St.
Criminal mischief: A man reported someone tossed beer bottles onto the road in the 100 block of East Liberty Street.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 200 block of Stewart Avenue reported someone in a red vehicle drove through his front yard.
July 17
Theft: A man reported an excavating machine was missing from Bell-Wick Bowl, 6105 W. Liberty St.
July 18
Identity theft: A Meadowland Drive man told police someone fraudulently used his identity.
