July 9
Menacing: Police arrested a 21-year-old man at his Botsford Street residence on an aggravated-menacing charge after the man's father said his son threatened to kill him. Police said the son also admitted having drug paraphernalia.
July 10
Criminal damaging: Someone broke a rear garage window in the 70 block of Centennial Drive.
July 15
Possible theft: A Water Street man told police he advanced $450 to a contractor for materials, but the work was never finished.

July 12
Identity fraud: A Boardman woman reported someone used her identity to buy items at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, Spencer Gifts in the Southern Park Mall and two other businesses.
Theft: An undisclosed amount of money was missing from Buick Youngstown, 7997 Market St.
Recovered property: A vehicle stolen in Youngstown was found in the 5700 block of Southern Boulevard.
Misuse of a credit card: A Westview Drive man told police his debit card was used to fraudulently remove money from his account.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 6800 block of Lockwood Boulevard discovered damage to her car.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman in the 4000 block of South Avenue reported her credit card was taken and used without permission.
Theft: A man reported the theft of money from his residence in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A woman reported damage to her swimming pool in the 7200 block of Amherst Drive.
Theft: A Poland girl and a Leetonia girl, both 16, were charged with theft after items were stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Thefts: Separate thefts occurred at the J.C. Penney store and Kaufmann's, both in the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: A man called police after an assault at Rockne's Restaurant, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrest: A Youngstown man, 20, was arrested at the Mahoning County jail on a warrant from Boardman charging him with aggravated robbery.
Arrests: Officers arrested a 24-year-old Bonita Springs, Fla., man and a Boardman man, 22, at a Green Garden Drive home. The local man faced charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, possession of fireworks and aggravated menacing; the other man was charged with possession and use of fireworks.

Vandalism: A rock was tossed through a window at Alladin Glass, 7380 Southern Blvd.
Theft: A man reported his wallet stolen from his vehicle while at Arthur Treacher's Fish & amp; Chips, 7322 Market St.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Jay Cee Seamless, 730 Bev Road.
Theft: Merchandise was stolen from Body Central in the Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: At a residence in the 60 block of Sciota Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A front-yard lamp post was damaged in the 5200 block of Cranberry Lane.
Theft: From a car parked in the 1800 block of Oles Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Someone damaged a door at a McDonald's restaurant, 1110 Boardman-Poland Road.
Burglary: At an apartment in the 800 block of Cook Avenue.
Theft: Items from a vehicle parked at Tinseltown USA, 7401 Market St.
Theft: Police picked up an 18-year-old Youngstown man at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St., on charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
Arrest: Authorities took a 20-year-old Youngstown woman into custody in the 8000 block of Market Street. She faced one felony count each of receiving stolen property, forgery and misuse of a credit card.
Arrest: A 52-year-old Youngstown man was arrested near Glenwood Avenue and Mill Creek Drive on a pair of warrants from Youngstown. The charges were failure to appear in court and criminal trespassing.
July 14
Bad check: An employee at Sky Bank, 3960 South Ave., reported handling a fraudulent payroll check.
Assault: A worker for the Mahoning County Board of Mental Retardation & amp; Developmental Disabilities, 825 Bev Road, reported a client was assaulted.
Identity theft: A man in the 7400 block of Oregon Trail told officers his identity was used to rent a vehicle from out of state.
Auto theft: A rental car was stolen from Club South Health & amp; Fitness Center, 7120 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: An undisclosed amount of money was taken from Carabba's Restaurant, 1320 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A license plate was stolen off a sport utility vehicle while at the Southern Park Mall.
Recovered property: A stolen vehicle was found in the 7000 block of Tiffany Boulevard.
Theft: From a vehicle parked at Circuit City, 7230 Market St.
Arrest: Lowellville authorities turned over to Boardman police a 42-year-old Lowellville man wanted on a warrant from Boardman charging him with violating a protection order.
Domestic violence: A man, 20, was arrested at his Gertrude Avenue home on a domestic-violence charge.
Drugs: Officers apprehended a 31-year-old Lowellville man in the 7100 block of Market Street on charges of possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, as well as contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Arrests: Officers took a 19-year-old Poland man and a 20-year-old North Lima man into custody in the 6600 block of South Avenue. Each was charged with obstructing official business; the younger man also was charged with underage possession of alcohol.
Drugs: After stopping his vehicle near U.S. Route 224 and Market Street, officers arrested an East Palestine man, 33. He was charged with drug abuse (cocaine), a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
July 15
Breaking and entering: At a Buena Vista Avenue residence.
Theft/vandalism:A man in the 300 block of Argyle Avenue called police after someone cut his vehicle's fuel lines and stole gasoline and a stereo/compact-disc player.
Arrest: Police apprehended a 23-year-old Boardman man at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, on a warrant from Youngstown charging him with domestic violence. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after officers say they found a suspected crack pipe.
Burglary: At a home in the 200 block of Wildwood Avenue.
Theft: Officers arrested two East Liverpool women, 29 and 41, on theft charges. They were accused of stealing about $253 worth of merchandise from the J.C. Penney store.
Assault/menacing: A Canfield man, 26, was arrested at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, after another man reported being pushed and threatened. Charges were aggravated menacing, failure to desist, resisting arrest and menacing. The man also threatened police, the report said.
Recovered property: Police located a stolen vehicle at Wal-Mart.
Arrest: Authorities arrested a 23-year-old Campbell man on one count each of receiving stolen property, driving under suspension and having fictitious license plates.
Arrest: A Boardman woman, 59, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence after police received a report of someone driving the wrong way on Interstate 680 and almost hitting several vehicles after crossing a median. The woman's blood alcohol count was 0.268, officers said.
July 16
Robbery: Authorities apprehended a 26-year-old Youngstown woman and charged her with robbery. She was accused of stealing clothing from Kaufmann's and fighting with security personnel.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 5300 block of Old Oxford Lane discovered a stepping stone in her yard was broken, apparently after someone tried to move a lawn ornament.
Auto theft: From outside an apartment in the 8200 block of Southern Boulevard.
Theft: A motorist pumped gasoline at Marathon Oil, 965 Boardman-Canfield Road, and failed to pay.
Arrest: Police took a 22-year-old Boardman woman into custody after finding out she was wanted on four warrants from Youngstown, including two counts of driving under suspension.
Criminal damaging: Someone used a sharp object to damage a boat attached to a trailer at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd.
Domestic violence/drugs: A 19-year-old man was arrested at his Hillman Way residence and charged with domestic violence and possession of marijuana.
Theft: A Boardman woman reported the theft of her purse while at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A girl, 15, and a woman, 19, both from Alliance, faced theft charges after clothing and sunglasses were taken from the J.C. Penney store.
Theft: Police charged a 20-year-old Youngstown woman with theft, obstructing official business and possession of marijuana after saying she stole a pair of shoes from Payless Shoesource, 48 Boardman-Poland Road, and fleeing. The woman had a bag of suspected marijuana, authorities said.
Theft/criminal damaging: A woman discovered damage to her car at Boardman Township Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road. Police also received complaints of items stolen from other vehicles.
Auto theft: A man in the 5000 block of Glenwood Avenue reported his vehicle stolen and several items missing from his home.
Assault: A man reported an assault in the 5200 block of South Avenue.
Arrest: Officers picked up a 44-year-old Struthers woman and charged her with theft by deception, forgery and identity theft relating to a June incident in the township.
