XYOUNGSTOWN -- United in marriage at noon July 4 during an outdoor ceremony at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park, were Ideltra Beacham and Charles Russell Jr.
The groom's aunt, the Rev. Wanda Richardson, officiated for the daughter of Wilbur Beacham of San Jose, Calif., and the late Wanda Jones, and the son of Charles and Gillie Russell, 1960 Guadalupe Ave.
A reception followed at the Davis Center at the park, and the couple departed for a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, Canada.
They are living in Memphis, Tenn.
A fitted white strapless gown enhanced with beads was worn by the bride, and a cathedral veil completed her attire.
Her sister, Dana Beacham, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Azzia Johnson, also the bride's sister, and Kelle Venters. Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Da'Je'auna Adams and Tanaya Beacham. All are of Youngstown.
Best man was the groom's father, and groomsmen were the groom's brothers-in-law, Loren Rhodes of Horn Lake, Miss., and Joseph Belle of Columbus, Ga. Joseph Belle Jr. of Columbus, his nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Russell is pursuing a degree in early childhood development at South West Community College in Memphis.
The groom graduated from the Basic Peace Officer Training Academy at Youngstown State University and is employed as an armed guard with Wackenhut Security in Memphis.
