Vision Center covers a lot of kids' bases with many activities

A game occupies the attention of young people participating in activities at the Vision Center at Joy and Praise Ministry, 2615 Market St., Youngstown. The center, which is open from noon to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, offers activities including computers, tutoring, video games, basketball, a toddler playground and more. Tony and Tina Fleisher, program directors at Vision Center, said the center will offer speakers on various issues including AIDS prevention and smoking. The summer program is for 2- to 18-year-olds.
