Trubes honored by family for 65th anniversary

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. John C. Trube Sr., 21 N. Portland Ave., were the guests of honor July 15 at a family celebration in observance of their 65th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the occasion were the couple's children and their spouses, John and Nancy Trube of Macedonia, Robert and Marilyn Trube of Powell, and Carol and Paul Campbell of Tempe, Ariz. Two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Trube and the former Dorothea Scott were married July 18, 1941, at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, where they remain members.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and is employed as an administrative assistant at Park Vista Retirement Community.
