Mr. and Mrs. Jerry McCarthy will mark 30th wedding anniversary on cruise

XCANFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Jerry McCarthy of 519 Greenmont Drive will observe their 30th wedding anniversary July 17.
The occasion will be celebrated during a family cruise in the winter, hosted by the couple's daughters, Colleen Speer of Columbus, Christine McCarthy of Columbus, Carrie McCarthy of Chicago and Molly McCarthy of Baltimore.
Mr. McCarthy and the former Kay Yasechko were married July 17, 1976, at Holy Trinity Church in Struthers.
Mrs. McCarthy is office manager at Sethi Enterprises in Boardman. She is a member of Youngstown Mothers of Twins, Canfield Welcome Wagon and Canfield Gourmet.
Her husband retired in 1992 as a plant manager from Packard Electric in Warren after 25 years of service. He belongs to the Saxon Club Boccie League, Vagabond Golf League and Canfield Gourmet.
The couple are members of St. Michael Church, where Mr. McCarthy is a eucharistic minister and Mrs. McCarthy is a volunteer teacher at the Parish School of Religion and also coordinates the homebound ministry.
