XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Kelley N. Stifter and Patsy D. Gay was solemnized by the Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony June 9 in the Chapel of Friendly Bells at Trinity United Methodist Church.
A reception was held afterward at the Mahoning County Country Club in Girard to honor the daughter of Frank and Linda Stifter of Brookfield and the son of Josephine Gay of Youngstown.
The couple honeymooned in Southport, N.C. They are living in Youngstown.
The bride was attired in a mermaid-style gown adorned with pearls and embroidery. Her attendants wore plum-colored dresses.
Tammy Gay of Austintown, the groom's sister-in-law, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister-in-law, Sara Stifter of Cuyahoga Falls, and Tammy Brown and Ashley Kelly, both of Youngstown.
The groom's twin brother, Paul Gay of Austintown, served as best man. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Jason Stifter of Cuyahoga Falls; the groom's nephew, Neal Hemphill of Youngstown; and Jim Fisher of Austintown. Austin and Noah Gay of Austintown, also the groom's nephews, were the ring bearers.
The bride attended Youngstown State University and works in sales for Alltel Communications in Boardman.
Her husband graduated from Choffin Career and Technical Center and works as a sand blaster and painter for Marblehead Equipment in Struthers.
