XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Jessica Suzanne Thomas and Thomas Gordon Hughes Jr. were married at 1:30 p.m. June 17 at St. Paul the Apostle Church. A reception followed at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Dr. Patrick and Susan Thomas of Raintree Run, Poland. The groom is a son of Thomas Hughes of Naples, Fla., and Tina Mitchell of Canfield. They reside in Fort Myers, Fla., after a trip to Costa Rica.
The bride wore an ivory silk gown with a strapless bodice and a tufted skirt. Attendants wore coral dresses.
Andrea Thomas was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Friedrich, Candace Pipino, Melanie Stoops, Natalie Napolitano, Cristina Cutrone, Meghann Dunn, Theresa Liptak and Amanda Morford. Junior bridesmaid was Ariel Evan. Flower girls were the groom's niece, Grace Mitchell, and his cousin, Abby Meredith.
Nicholas Lisotto was the best man. Groomsmen were Ronald Silvashy, Mitchell Fusek, Matthew Bise, Nicholas Voisard, Jason Marks, Rollin Lovell and the groom's cousins, Anthony Danko and Scott Hughes. His nephew, Gary Peck, was junior groomsman, and ring bearer was Victor Appell.
The bride earned a degeee in human development and family science at Ohio State University and is a staffing manager for Bernstein and Associates Staffing in Fort Myers. The groom has a finance degree from the University of Cincinnati and is a commercial loan officer at Riverside Bank in Fort Myers.
