XCLEARWATER, Fla. -- The marriage of Jessica Lynn Strom and Matthew Ryan Jones was solemnized by the Rev. George Aldrich during a 7:30 p.m. ceremony June 24 on the beach of Sand Key Park.
A dinner party was held afterward at The Marriott Clearwater. A postnuptial reception is planned for the couple at St. Mary's Banquet Center in Boardman on July 22.
The bride is the daughter Reed and Karen Strom of Green Bay Drive, Boardman. The groom's parents are Jo Jones of Vineland Place, Boardman, and Charles Jones of Youngstown.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia in the British West Indies, the newlyweds live in Orlando, Fla.
The bride's A-line chiffon gown was styled with an empire waist and spaghetti straps, and the bodice was trimmed in beaded lace.
Attendants were the bride's cousins, Jennifer Kusiak as matron of honor and Taylor Kusiak as flower girl, both of Orlando.
Craig Countryman, Nashville, Tenn., was best man. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Matthew Strom of Chicago, and the groom's brothers, Christopher Jones of Boardman and Michael Jones of Salem. Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Nicholas Pogacnik, McKinney, Texas.
The bride earned a degree in early elementary education at Kent State University. She teaches second grade for the Orange County Public Schools in Orlando.
The bridegroom studied in the paramedic program at Butler County Community College in Butler, Pa. He is an animatronics welder for The Works Unlimited in Orlando.
