Family gathering held in celebration of 50th for Orrs

XPOLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Orr of 9910 Sharrott Road were honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary July 7 at a family gathering in the Saxon Club in Youngstown.
The event was hosted by their daughters and son-in-law, Kim and Kevin Jamison of Salem and Jody Orr of Poland. There are also two grandchildren in their family.
Mr. Orr and the former Carol Stratton were united in marriage July 7, 1956, at Foster Memorial Presbyterian Church in Youngstown.
The couple attend Christ Church in Boardman.
Mr. Orr retired in 1995 as a maintenance supervisor for EASCO Aluminum in Girard. He is a member of Western Star Lodge, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Youngstown, High Twelve Club 720 of Temple on the Hill, Al Koran Shriners of Cleveland, Saxon Cub and Fraternal Order of Eagles, and is a member and past president of Youngstown Shrine Club.
His wife is a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine and Columbiana Chapter 428, Order of the Eastern Star.
