CARRIE ENSLEYSTEPHEN MARKS
XBOARDMAN -- Carrie Marie Ensley, daughter of Laurie and Jerry Ensley of Boardman, and Stephen Matthew Marks, son of Barbara and Stephen N. Marks, also of Boardman, were joined in marriage at 2:30 p.m. June 17 at First Covenant Church.
The Rev. Thomas Sharkey officiated, and a reception took place afterward at The Georgetown.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and are living in Boardman.
The bride's A-line gown was fashioned of ivory satin beneath Alencon lace. It was trimmed with Swarovski crystals and featured a full train attached at the waist. Matching jewels enhanced her fingertip illusion veil.
Honor attendants were Heidi Lamping and Rachel Burda, and bridesmaids were Katie Ensley, the bride's sister-in-law; Ashley and Megan Huff, her cousins; Jen Wilder; and Cristin Vimmerstedt. They wore pink gowns.
Matthew Marks, the groom's brother, and Craig Marks, his cousin, shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Greg Ensley, the bride's brother, and Phil Detec, Ryan Sherman, Jim Cliff and Jim Chimento.
Mrs. Marks is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in the progressive intermediate care unit at Humility of Mary Health Partners in Youngstown.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from YSU and is photo manager at Sam's Club in Niles.
