WELLSVILLE -- Fire caused an undetermined amount of damage Saturday morning to an apartment building at 805 Main St. in the city's downtown area. No injuries were reported by fire officials. The fire, of undetermined cause, was reported at 11:10 a.m. Firefighters were on the scene until about 4:20 p.m. No other buildings were damaged, officials said. Wellsville received mutual aid from the Liverpool Township, Irondale and Highlandtown volunteer fire departments.
Memorial brick sale
NORTH LIMA -- Beaver Township Park Board is continuing with its memorial brick sale project at Woodworth Park. Bricks may be bought, at $35 each, engraved with a person's name and then used as part of the memorial at the park. Applications are available at the township administration office at South Range Plaza on South Avenue Extension. For more information, call (330) 549-9552.
Cemetery lot owners
BOARDMAN -- Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Market St., will have its annual lot owners' meeting at 2 p.m. July 28 in the cemetery chapel.
Water service permits
LAKE MILTON -- Permits to obtain water service in Milton Township beginning Monday can be obtained at the Mahoning County Sanitary Engineering Department, 761 Industrial Road, Youngstown.
The department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. excluding holidays.

Marching band honor
MERCER, Pa. -- The Sharpsville Blue Devil Marching Band has been selected to represent Mercer County at a Sept. 30 parade in Harrisburg celebrating the Pennsylvania Capitol Centennial.
Each Pennsylvania county was allowed to send one marching band to participate. Mercer County had four applicants, and Mercer County commissioners held a lottery to pick the winning band.
The parade will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building and is sponsored by the Capitol Centennial Commission.
Historical Day event
NORTH BLOOMFIELD -- North Bloomfield Historical Day will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at state Routes 45 and 87.
The day will feature tractor races, children's games and craft and antique vendors. There also will be a public viewing of the historic Bloomfield Town Hall and performances by The Barber Shoppers and The Dollar Hat Band.
Bloomfield Methodist Church will serve dinner from noon to 3 p.m. At 5 p.m., a parade will wrap up the festivities.
Historical Day is sponsored by the North Bloomfield Historical Society.
