XLAKES WALES, Fla. -- Vows were exchanged during an 11 a.m. ceremony July 1 at Bok Sanctuary Gardens as Gennifer West and Brian Tackett, both of 3960 S. Canfield Niles Road, Canfield, were united in marriage.
The bride is a daughter of Meribeth Brocker, 40-4 Stratford Green Drive, Canfield, and Mike West, Lockwood Village, Boardman.
Parents of the groom are Dave and Marsha Tackett, 479 Hickory Hollow Drive, Canfield.
Chaplain Jim C. Thomas officiated for the ceremony.
The couple were honored afterward at the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando, Fla. A postnuptial reception in their honor will be held in the fall in Youngstown.
The bride, a homemaker, attended Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla., and Youngstown State University. She has a paramedicine license.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in computer information systems at YSU and is a software developer for Softek Software in Youngstown.
They are residing at the South Canfield Niles Road address.
