Chevy Centre will be site of Kidz Fest

YOUNGSTOWN --Clear Channel Radio Youngstown and Akron Children's Hospital will present Kidz Fest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 23 at the Chevrolet Centre.
The event will feature entertainment and activities for children and adults, including:
American Idol fan favorite and finalist Kevin Covais on hand to meet everyone and to sing.
The Cartoon Network's Scooby-Doo visiting with kids throughout the day.
Jeff Lenosky, one of the best mountain bike riders in the world, demonstrating his riding abilities.
Nitemare II Monster Truck.
A Hall of Knowledge.
Safety Town where fire, police and health-care officials will talk to parents and children about staying safe and healthy.
A Stat MedEvac Helicopter.
Health and fitness demonstrations.
Crafts.
A play area for children.
The doors will open at 10 a.m., and admission is $7 for adults and $4 for kids. Children under 2 are admitted free. Tickets will be available at the door. Advance sale tickets are available at www.Gettix.net.
Parking is free in all downtown locations for the event.
