"Squirrel Boy" (7 p.m., Cartoon Network): This new animated series sounds pretty darn nutty. It follows the adventures of a boy named Andy and his pet squirrel, Rodney. We're told that Rodney can talk and he has lots of "big" ideas that sometimes get the two in trouble. Supposedly, plenty of hilarity ensues.
"CMT at Summerfest 2006" (8 p.m., CMT): A performance at Milwaukee's long-running music festival by Lynyrd Skynyrd is sure to soothe Southern rock fans. The hour is one of three concerts this weekend on CMT with others being Hank Williams Jr. at 8 p.m. Saturday and Dierks Bentley at 8 p.m. Sunday.
"Stargate SG-1" (9 p.m., Sci-Fi Channel): For the new season and 10th campaign, "SG-1" adds Claudia Black to the regular cast. She plays Vala, a "sexually charged and ethically challenged" thief-of-all-trades. Trust us, we don't make this stuff up. It's followed by "Stargate Atlantis."
