XBOARDMAN -- The wedding of K. Wade Calhoun and Sara Rae VanGorder, both of 7954 Market St., took place at 3 p.m. June 3 at Christ Church.
The Rev. J.R. Selders officiated for the daughter of Mandy Pilolli of North Royalton and Randall VanGorder of Liberty and the son of Ken and Donna Calhoun, 4957 Gault Road, North Jackson.
The couple were honored at a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield. Afterward they left for a honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The bride's halter-style gown of white beaded satin was designed with a lace-up back, inverted side pleats and a split back with organza insets. The train was detailed with beads and lace.
Megan O'Leary was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Sunny Dillon, Erin Weller, Tiffanie Stokes, Shannon Burt and Maura Peterson. They wore black gowns.
The duties of best man were performed by Matt Orr, and groomsmen were the groom's brothers, Trevor and Tom Calhoun; the bride's brothers, Anthony and Michael Pilolli; and Trent Christie and Ron Kirkbride.
Mrs. Calhoun holds a bachelor's degree in community health planning and promotion from Youngstown State University and is employed by the Youngstown Dental Group, LLC.
Her husband earned his bachelor's degree in political science at YSU and is employed by BP Oil.
The couple live at the Market Street address.
