CANDACE CUMMINST. JONAS SVENSSON
HUBBARD -- The wedding of Candace M. Cummins and T. Jonas Svensson, both of 665 Jerry Drive, was an event of June 10 at St. Patrick Church.
The bride is a daughter of Bill and Sue Cummins, 851 Saul Drive, and Mr. Svensson is a son of Tore S. Svensson of Angelholm, Sweden, and the late Ulla Svensson.
The Rev. Timothy O'Neill officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex in Liberty.
The couple are living at the Jerry Drive address and plan a honeymoon to Boston in August.
A white strapless satin gown was worn by the bride. It was embellished with beaded lace and a tulle overlay and flowed to a chapel train.
Kelley Svensson, the groom's sister-in-law, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Kelly Miller and Gina Galish. The groom's niece, Amanda Svensson, was junior bridesmaid. They wore plum-colored gowns.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Magnus Svensson, and groomsmen were Bill Cummins Jr., the bride's brother, and Peter Persson, the groom's cousin. Erick Svensson, the groom's nephew, was junior groomsman, and ushers were the bride's cousins, David and Frank Loria.
Mrs. Svensson attended Youngstown State University and is an administrative assistant with Lane Funeral Homes in Austintown.
Her husband served in the Swedish National Air Force.
